About Initiative
The MACC Initiative is a movement dedicated to evolving the thoughts, conversations, and even policies that affect career moms and the companies they represent. It’s nothing new: women often struggle to find the right flexibility and so called “balance” in their lives to be the best they can be at home and at work. Workplaces struggle to create the types of environments that allow career moms to remain in the workforce and contribute in a way that maximizes their contribution.
Through The MACC Initiative, companies have an opportunity to champion people and work environments that promote engagement and inclusion that is unprecedented and work environments that allow people to focus on what really matters.

Our Mission
The MACC Initiative is dedicated to increasing the number of resources available to career moms and evolving the way organizations leverage the power of career moms. Through a professional and personal network of support and resources, members will feel empowered and equipped to fulfill their two callings in life: to be a dedicated, loving and involved mother while actively contributing outside of the home through a professional career.
Support and Services Offered by The MACC Initiative:
- Research: To further the mission of The MACC Initiative, we need to be involved in cutting edge research and discussions that uncover the true needs and issues facing working moms and the workplace. This research is available to member companies free of charge or available for purchase to non-member companies. Whether the research addresses the needs of working moms in today’s workforce, or ways to successfully establish practices and programs that support working moms best, the research is intended to create action around engaging working moms in a way that is most meaningful to them and most relevant to the business. - Customized Curriculum/Training Design: What motivates workers and executives today is drastically different than it was 5, 10, 15 years ago. The global environment, the speed of business, and what constitutes success has changed the way we work. This transition is tough, but the companies who have figured out how to best leverage each and every employee are the companies that are succeeding today.
